NSUK Expands Educational Access: Admission Portal Reopens for Part-Time Programmes
The Centre for Continuing Studies (CCS) at Nasarawa State University, Keffi, is pleased to announce a special reopening of its admission portal for part-time degree programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.
The Enrollment Window
Acting Director of the Centre, Ismaila Olotu, confirmed that the digital portal was officially reactivated on Friday, March 6, 2026, and will remain open for a strictly limited period, closing at midnight on Sunday, March 15, 2026.
Broadening the Horizon: The B.Ed. Guidance and Counselling Initiative
A primary driver for this reopening is the introduction of the new Part-Time Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in Guidance and Counselling. This addition reflects the University’s responsiveness to the growing demand for professional counselors in our educational and social sectors. Furthermore, this window serves as a “second chance” for high-achieving candidates who may have missed the regular full-time admission cycle but remain committed to their academic goals.
Designed for the Modern Professional
The NSUK part-time model is engineered for flexibility without compromise. Recognizing the complex demands of the modern workforce, the university has tailored these programmes for:
- Working Professionals: Advance your career while maintaining your employment.
- Entrepreneurs & Caregivers: Balance family and business obligations with structured weekend or evening learning.
- Lifelong Learners: Pursue a degree at a pace that respects your personal lifestyle.
Our Commitment to National Development
“Our mission at Nasarawa State University is to dismantle the barriers to higher education,” stated Dr. Olotu. By providing alternative learning pathways, NSUK continues to empower a diverse demographic of Nigerians to secure university degrees, fostering a more educated and skilled national workforce.
