All University Council, Senate, and Congregation members must participate. To keep the event formal and prestigious, all participants must wear the University of Delta’s approved academic gowns. Conduct and Discipline Guidelines
Since this is the university’s first convocation, the Management is highly focused on the institution’s image and the behavior of the graduating students. Faculty Officers will directly supervise their students to ensure order during the awarding of degrees and prizes.
The university has strongly warned that any behavior from students or guests that could damage the institution’s reputation will not be tolerated. Misconduct, including disruptive celebrations or not following the procession rules, will result in strict penalties as per the University of Delta’s regulations. Logistics for Graduating Students
To ensure a smooth experience for the first graduating class, the Office of the Registrar has assigned specific tasks to Faculty Officers for managing academic attire.
Gown Pickup: Faculty Officers must go to the Central Stores on Wednesday, February 19, 2026, at 12:00 noon to collect gowns for their faculties.
Student Distribution: After collecting the gowns, students should follow their department’s instructions to get their gowns. Students must complete all financial and administrative requirements before this date to avoid any issues.
Return: All rented gowns must be returned in good condition within the set time after the ceremony to avoid penalties for late returns or replacement costs.
