The management of the Gombe State College of Nursing Sciences (formerly College of Nursing and Midwifery) has announced the commencement of the online sale of admission forms for the 2025/2026 academic session into the following programmes:
AVAILABLE PROGRAMMES
1. Post Basic HND in Nursing (2 years)
Applicants must be Registered Nurses (RN) or Registered Midwives (RM) with a valid practicing licence.
2. Post Basic Public Health Nursing (2 years)
Applicants must be Registered Nurses (RN) or Registered Midwives (RM) with a valid practicing licence.
3. ND/HND Nursing (4 years)
Applicants must be between 16–35 years, physically fit, and must have scored a minimum of 160 in the 2025 UTME (JAMB), choosing the College as their first and preferred choice.
Candidates must possess at least five (5) credits in English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics in not more than two sittings (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, SAISSCE/NBAIS, or GCE).
NABTEB results cannot be combined with other results.
All applicants must upload their O’level results to the JAMB portal (CAPS) for admission consideration.

Create an account with a valid email and phone number, select programme of choice, and make payment through the designated platform.
Application fees
₦20,000(non-refundable) for Post Basic HND in Nursing & Post Basic Public Health Nursing
₦5,000 (non-refundable) for ND/HND Nursing
(exclusive of e-service charges)
Complete the online application form, upload all required documents, print the application slip, and submit it with two (2) passport photographs to the College ICT Unit immediately.
IMPORTANT DATES
Sales of forms begin: Monday, 15th September 2025
Closing of sales: Thursday, 25th September 2025 (midnight)*Deadline for submission of completed forms: Friday, 26th September 2025
Screening/Oral Interview: Thursday, 2nd Friday, 3rd October 2025
SCREENING REQUIREMENTS
Post Basic Programmes: Original notification of registration as RN or RM with current practising licence.
ND/HND Nursing: Only O’level result printouts obtained directly from official examination bodies (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, SAISSCE/NBAIS, GCE) plus original credentials will be accepted.
