The management of Northwest University, Kano (NWU) wishes to inform all candidates who chose the institution as their First Choice in the 2025 UTME or applied through Direct Entry (DE), that the online registration for the Post-UTME/DE Screening Exercise has commenced.
Registration Period:
Monday, 15th September 2025 ➡️ Sunday, 28th September 2025
Eligibility Criteria
For UTME Candidates:
1. Must have chosen Northwest University, Kano as first choice institution.
2. Must have scored the required minimum cut-off mark for their chosen programme.
3. Must possess at least five (5) O’Level credit passes including English Language and Mathematics in not more than two sittings (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB or equivalent).
For Direct Entry (DE) Candidates:
1. Must possess the 2025 DE Registration Slip.
2. Acceptable qualifications include:
National Diploma (ND)
NCE
IJMB
LIMB
3. Required minimum qualifications:
ND: Minimum CGPA of 3.0 (Science-based) or 3.5 (Arts-based).
NCE: Minimum of 9 points.
IJMB: Minimum of 7 points (Science-based) or 8 points (Arts & Social Science-based).
Important Note:
Candidates awaiting results are not eligible.
Only those who meet the requirements will be considered for admission.
