The University of Medical Sciences (UNIMED), Ondo, established in 2014 as Nigeria’s first specialized medical university, has announced the commencement of its Inter-University Transfer application for the 2025/2026 academic session. The University remains notable for its stable academic calendar and high-quality health sciences education.
Important Information for Applicants
1. Applicants must not have been out of academic activities for more than one year.
2. A non-refundable application fee of ₦30,000 is required.
3. Triplicate copies of the application form must be submitted.
4. Only clear, duly signed documents will be accepted.
5. Applicants’ official academic transcript must be sent directly by their former university’s Registrar to the Registrar, UNIMED.
6. Transfer is strictly course-to-course (no change of discipline allowed).
7. Completed forms must be returned to the Academic Affairs Division within two weeks of collection.
8. UNIMED reserves the right to conduct background checks on applicants.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
Candidates are to register online via www.unimed.edu.ng and click on Inter-University Transfer under “Admission.”
After online registration, applicants should print the application form, complete it manually, and submit it with all required documents.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
O’ Level results use for admission into the former university.
UTME result (minimum score: 180).
Academic transcript (to be sent directly by the former university’s Registrar).
Any other relevant documents (e.g., medical reports, awards, certificates).

MODE OF PAYMENT
Payment must be made strictly via the UNIMED Payment Platform on the university website.
Only VISA and MasterCard are accepted (Verve not allowed).
