JUST IN: FUHSA RELEASES 2025 INTER/INTRA-UNIVERSITY TRANSFER APPLICATION FORM
The Senate of the Federal University of Health Sciences, Azare (FUHSA), at its 32nd meeting held on Wednesday, 3rd September 2025, approved and released the official guidelines for intra-university (change of course) and inter-university transfers. These modalities are designed to assist students who wish to change their course within the institution or transfer from other universities into FUHSA.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Interested candidates are to:
1. Visit the official portal: https://applicant.safapply.com/fuhsa.
2. Complete and submit the online application form along with the required documents.
3. Attach their academic transcript for evaluation.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must possess a minimum of five O’ Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics.
Admission is subject to space availability in the desired department.
For competitive courses (MBBS, BDS), candidates must have a minimum CGPA of 4.01.
For Nursing Sciences and other courses, a minimum CGPA of 3.50 is required.
Candidates must secure clearance from their current department, faculty, and university, and obtain acceptance from the new department, faculty, and university authority.
APPLICABLE FEES
Change of Course Form – ₦50,000
Acceptance Fee (Intra-University) – ₦250,000
Transfer from Public Universities – ₦500,000
Transfer from Private Universities – ₦2,500,000
Transfer from Foreign Universities – ₦3,000,000
ADDITIONAL NOTES
Applicants must complete all pre-requisite courses required by their new department.
All transfers must be regularized with JAMB and include an indemnity form.
Each candidate is allowed only one transfer during their academic programme.
The management advises all students to carefully consider their decision before initiating a transfer or change of course.
