JAMB OPENS PORTAL FOR UTME TO DIRECT ENTRY (DE) CONVERSION FOR 2025 CANDIDATES
_This is to inform all interested candidates that the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially activated the portal for conversion of 2025 UTME to Direct Entry (DE).
This is especially for candidates who initially registered for UTME but now possess valid JUPEB, IJMB, or any other DE-acceptable qualification._
Eligibility Criteria:
Must have registered for the 2025 UTME
Must now possess a JUPEB, IJMB, or similar Direct Entry qualification
Must be seeking admission into 200 Level via Direct Entry
Required Documents:
Original JUPEB/IJMB result (or awaiting result slip)
O’Level result(s)
2025 UTME registration slip
Passport photograph
Valid means of identification (e.g., National ID)
🖐️ Biometric Verification:
Candidates must complete thumbprint verification at the CBT centre to finalize the conversion process.
How to Apply:
1. Visit any JAMB-accredited CBT centre
2. Request for UTME to DE Conversion
3. Submit all required documents
4. Complete biometric (thumbprint) confirmation
5. Receive a printout of your new DE status
Important Notes:
This process must be done physically at a CBT centre (not online or at a cyber café)
JAMB will not recognize conversions done outside approved CBT centres
Portal may be closed without prior notice, act fast!
