
We are pleased to inform the general public that admissions into Lagos City Polytechnic (LCP) for the 2025/2026 academic session have officially commenced. Applications are now open to suitably qualified candidates seeking to pursue National Diploma (ND) and other programmes at one of Nigeria’s leading private polytechnics.
Admission into Full-Time ND Programmes
- Candidates interested in full-time National Diploma (ND) programmes must apply through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). If you participated in the 2025 UTME but did not select Lagos City Polytechnic as one of your choices, you can still apply. Simply visit the Admissions Office at LCP to update your information and receive guidance on the next steps.
Changing Your Institution to Lagos City Polytechnic
Didn’t choose LCP as your first choice during JAMB registration? No problem! Here’s what to do:
1. Visit any JAMB-accredited CBT centre.
2. Change your first-choice institution to Lagos City Polytechnic.
3. Print out your JAMB result and Change of Institution slip.
4. Proceed to the Polytechnic campus to begin your admission process.
Admission for Part-Time and Non-JAMB Candidates
If you did not take the UTME or prefer to study part-time, you can apply directly for Lagos City Polytechnic’s part-time programmes. Begin your application online or at the campus, print out the confirmation slip, and head to the Polytechnic for further processing.
Admission & Registration Process for Fresh Students
To ensure a smooth application experience, follow these steps carefully:
1. Obtain a Teller from the Admissions or Enquiries Officer to pay the application fee at the designated bank.
2. Present your teller at the Bursary and receive the Application Form.
3. Submit your filled Application Form to the Admissions Officer, who will guide you on required documents and the application process.
4. Schedule and write the Post-UTME test.
5. Based on your performance, collect your Admission Letter.
6. Pay the non-refundable Acceptance Fee and other necessary fees at the Bursary.
7. Proceed to the designated medical centre for a mandatory medical test.
8. With your Admission Letter, visit the MIS (Management Information System) unit for payment directives.
9. After payment, collect and fill your Registration Forms as instructed.
10. Submit completed forms along with medical test results and verification cards for O’Level result verification.
11. Collect your MIS Form with your matriculation number.
12. Register your courses at the MIS office.
13. Get your course registration form endorsed by your Head of Department and School Director.
14. Submit all payment receipts and registration forms to the Bursary for final documentation and examination eligibility.
